Celebration of the use of archival footage in the creative media, screening productions from Europe and beyond, run by archivist Alison Mercer. A must-see event for anybody interested in contemporary creative media that relies on archival footage as a narrative vehicle. Highlights include Ici, On Noie Les Algeriens (Here, We Drown Algerians), which tells the story of the massacre of hundreds of marchers in Paris in 1961, and Unfinished Spaces, which tells how Fidel Castro and Che Guevara commissioned three visionary architects to design Cuba's National Art Schools.
