In the 1960s/70s there arose a subculture of DIY screenings in smoky backrooms and above pubs in central London, introducing a generation of cinephiles to a wealth of silent rarities, often in 9.5mm format. For one night only the VFC recreates the experience of one of its classic film shows, including Tom Mix in The Big Diamond Robbery, French animation and comedy, and Stage Stars Off Stage. Don’t miss!
