The Cinema Museum’s first fundraising Memorabilia Bazaar at the end of February 2010 was a resounding success, with dealers’ tables, bring and buy stall, refreshments and raffle all popular with visitors. The event was opened by Michael Winner, and through the course of the weekend there were interviews with Fenella Fielding and Reach for the Sky star Muriel Pavlow; Kevin Brownlow talked about discovery of Chaplin camera outtakes; archivist David Cleveland presented the various home movie gauges; and actress Caroline Munro signed autographs and talked to visitors refreshments.
Here is a fuller account of the day from volunteer Dave Locke.
