A captivating love story about a Jewish woman (played beautifully by Norma Aleandro) who ‘hires’ a non-Jewish man (in an equally magnificent performance by Federico Luppi) to pretend to be her fiancé. Funny and heart-breakingly tender, the film is directed with a light touch by Eduardo Mignogna.
The movie will be introduced by Adam Feinstein, who has interviewed Norma Leandro for a book he is writing on Argentinian cinema.
Doors open at 18.30, for a 19.30 start.
Refreshments will be available in our licensed cafe/bar.
