2025 marks the 50th Anniversary of The Sweeney, which was first broadcast on Thames Television in 1975, and to celebrate Misty Moon is holding a special reunion at The Cinema Museum, which coincides with Old Gold Media releasing for the very first time the entire series restored on Blu-Ray.
Hosted by Darkside Magazine’s Allan Bryce, spend an afternoon celebrating one of the most iconic British television series.

George Sweeney played the violent psychopath Tim Cook in the episodes “Taste of Fear” and “On The Run”. George’s other screen credits include Jack The Ripper (1988), Citizen Smith (1977-80), The Bill (1990-2006) and For Your Eyes Only (1981).
