Join us for the first edition of La Monocle’s monthly queer film club, created in collaboration with the wonderful Caroline Cassin. Each month we gather to celebrate queer cinema, build community, and create a welcoming space to meet new people… and for December, we’re embracing full Christmas coziness with a screening of Happiest Season (2020).

We’ll open doors at 6:30pm for a relaxed hour of mingling: a chance to chat, make friends, and settle into the festive atmosphere. Drinks will be available at the Cinema Museum cafe/bar, and we’ll also be hosting a special raffle (details announced soon).

The film begins at 7:30pm, followed by an optional, informal continuation of the evening at Betty and Joan’s, just a short walk away. They’ll be open as usual; no reservation or partnership… simply a warm space to carry on conversations.

This event is part of La Monocle’s mission to nurture inclusive FLINTA-focused queer spaces, inspired by the spirit of the historic Parisian Le Monocle. Our film club aims to create a consistent, friendly, and accessible community space where queer people can gather, unwind, and feel fully welcomed. All of our evenings help fund the opening of our own bar, built by the community of FLINTA South London.

Advance tickets may be purchased from Ticketlab, or direct from the Museum by calling 020 7840 2200 in office hours. Tickets will also be available on the door on the night.
