This Woman is Dangerous (1952), directed by Felix E. Feist, with Joan Crawford, David Brian, and Dennis Morgan.
Ken has a soft spot for the lovely Joan and in this 1952 noir, presented from a 16mm print, she plays a gangster’s moll who is going blind. While she travels to Indiana for risky eye surgery, and her surgeon starts to fall for her, her gangster boyfriend shoots a policeman, and as he tries to contact her, the law moves in.
This film was Crawford’s last film for Warner Bros, as she asked to be released from her contract.
Doors open at 18.30, for a 19.30 start.
