A special preview screening of writer/director Michael Wright’s period crime-noir-thriller, set in the northern heartlands of the 1960s.
At a moral crossroads, a mild-mannered undertaker (Paul McGann) makes the wrong choice when he agrees to secretly dispose of a ruthless gangster’s latest victims. Combining British Crime, American Film Noir and German Expressionism, The Undertaker is a 1960s period drama also starring Tara Fitzgerald, Roger Barclay, Sean Gilder, Lily Frazer and Murray Melvin in his final film role.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with writer/director Michael Wright and actor/producer Roger Barclay.
Doors open at 18.00, for a 19.00 start.
