Misty Moon and TV/Film Podcast UK Presents London’s Burning – The Reunion – SORRY EVENT CANCELLED

Sat 20 Jan 2024 @ 17:00 · Events

After the enormous success of their sold out Bill Reunions, Misty Moon has teamed up with the good folk of the TV/Film Podcast UK to bring some of the cast of LWT’s much loved programme London’s Burning to The Cinema Museum.

London’s Burning is a British television drama programme, produced by London Weekend Television for the ITV network. It was based on the 1986 TV movie of the same name, and focused on the lives of members of the London Fire Brigade, principally those of the Blue Watch, at the fictional Blackwall fire station. It began with the movie, broadcast on 7 December 1986. This was then followed by a total of 14 series, which ran from 20 February 1988 to 25 August 2002.

Confirmed guests are:

Claudia McNulty aka Diana Baulstrode. Diana was the mischievous daughter of ACO William Baulstrode and when she started dating Station Officer Nick Georgiadis it became very awkward for Nick when he found out who Diana’s father was.

Nicholas Harrison aka Les Watson. Les was one of Kelly Green’s wayward brothers and the brother-in-law of firefighter George Green. Les ended up on the wrong end of George’s lethal right hook on many occasions.

Michael Garner aka Leading Firefighter Geoffrey Pearce. Michael played Pearce from 1993 to 2002. Pearce’s nickname was Poison, due to the fact that he was spying and stirring things up amongst the other members of Blue Watch.

Kim Taylforth aka Nancy Ray the estranged mother of firefighter Billy Ray from 1995 to 1997. Kim’s sister is Gillian Taylforth aka Kathy Beale in EastEnders.

After the Q&A there will be a meet and greet with the audience and there will be a chance to purchase autographs and have photos taken with the guests. More guests to be announced soon.

Doors open at 16.00, for a 17.00 start.

Refreshments will be available in our licensed cafe/bar.
