Misty Moon’s International Film Festival saves The Cinema Museum from COVID

Sat 24 Oct 2020 @ 19:00 · Events

Misty Moon International Film Festival 2020The Misty Moon International Film Festival is back again this Halloween, for another year of fantastic indie films and will be held on Saturday the 24th October 2020 with our friends and charity partners The Cinema Museum, a venue of significant cultural importance within England’s capital city.

Due to COVID and the UK’s recent social distancing restrictions, the festival cannot be held at The Cinema Museum, which is temporarily closed. So we are holding the festival online AND we hope to generate some income for the Museum, who have had NO Government or other COVID Emergency funding. All the finalists films will be screened and the judges will be in attendance. Once restrictions are lifted and we are allowed back into The Cinema Museum we will invite all the finalists to the museum to see their films screened on the big screen next year, with the guest judges in attendance.

Hope to see you there – please donate to the Cinema Museum’s Crowdfunding initiative (great rewards) at https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/reopen-and-reimagine-the-cinema-museum.
