She Done Him WrongReShape and the Cinema Museum present the VITO Project, a series of free monthly screenings bringing generations of LGBTs together to provide an alternative space to mix, watch films and share ideas.

This month’s film is She Done Him Wrong (1933), a Paramount Pictures crime comedy film, starring Mae West and Cary Grant.

Based on her own successful and scandalous play Diamond Lil, the film is famous for Mae West’s many double entendres. She plays a seductive nightclub singer who contends with several suitors, including a jealous escaped convict and a handsome temperance league member.

The screening will be followed by an open discussion with Jan Pimblett and Dom Agius. Neil Bartlett will be our MC for the night.

The project is endorsed by BFI Flare, 56 Dean St, Gay’s the Word, ACT UP London, Gay Mates, a Change of Scene, the Cara Trust, I-Base, UK-CAB, Naz Project & Positively UK.

Doors open at 18.00, for a 19.00 start.

Refreshments will be available in our licensed cafe/bar.
