Events hosted by the Cinema Museum include unique screenings curated by arts organisations V22 and The Dog Movement. V22 put on Gesualdo: Death for Five Voices as part of a festival of Werner Herzog films in 2009, and The Dog Movement organised an evening of Nathaniel Dorsky films in 2010.
The Cinema Museum at the Master’s House, Kennington, provides an atmospheric backdrop for cinema-related filming, and is an ideal venue for film industry events, festival screenings, book launches and exhibitions – or indeed any event that would benefit from the unique ambience we have to offer. Available spaces include the lofty and spacious main hall and the 36-seat screening-room.
We welcome the opportunity to host your event. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
The Cinema Museum has hosted a diverse range of events in 2010, including Cosy Comedy Club; a reception for 100 seated guests in May; and ‘The Dawn of the Gods’, an exhibition of art by Michael Slusakowicz, inspired by items in the collection, in November/December.
