Doors open – 6.30pm. Films start – 7.30pm. We aim to finish our events by 10.15pm. Food will be available during the early part of the evening.

Admission £8 on the door. Seats are limited, so please arrive early or request an invitation using the email kenbioscope@gmail.com.

July 8: Michael Powell Rarities: Edge of the World (1937) Original Version plus Personal Shorts
Venue: Birkbeck Cinema, 43 Gordon Square, WC1H 0PY 18.00-21.00.
The discovery of an original nitrate print of what Michael Powell always considered his breakthrough as an independent filmmaker in 1937 reveals footage not in the 1990 restoration. The evening is presented by the film historian Ian Christie and film director Chris Bird. More details here.
Please note: This screening is free. But the ‘reservations’ can fill up fast, it often shows as ‘full’, but people should come anyway as some do not show up.
