Visions

We still don't know where to move, but here are some places we have considered.

In 1999 we were offered an opportunity to move to an empty former chain store at Trinity Buoy Wharf on the North bank of the Thames. We were excited by this opportunity to finally "rest our caravan" and at last open up our collection to the public with permanent and changing exhibitions.
However as the building was only four walls with few amenities, as our income began tapering, the cost became prohibitive and we had to reluctantly withdraw.

The Odeon Cinema, Northfields Avenue, Ealing. Although we had the support  of Ealing Council it was ultimately bought, converted into a nightclub and is now a church.

How it looked inside.

The Old Town Hall, Shoreditch. An interesting building but the Council wanted multi-occupany which was not appropriate for us.

The Beaufoy Institute, our current hope for the future.
