Cinema Museum Open Weekend 27th - 28th June 2009 |
| Over 300 visitors came through our doors over the Open Weekend, joining Guided Tours with Anna Odrich and talks by David Cleveland, Hazel Pethig and Jenny Hammerton. The Open Weekend featured an exhibition "Chaplin vs Cnidoblasts" featuring sculptures by Anna Odrich and Cnidoblasts, which reconfigured artefacts from the collection and explored the mechanics and gestures of silent comedy. The Cinema was packed with people as Tom Bell took the piano and mellatron to deliver a fantastic score to accompany Chaplin's shorts. Thanks to all who visited, donated, supported and volunteered!    |
