Jonathan Rigby, author of the acclaimed English Gothic and American Gothic, launches the long awaited Euro Gothic: Classics of Continental Horror Cinema with a talk featuring stills and clips.

From the Expressionist reveries of the Weimar Republic to the transgressive nightmares smuggled past the Franco regime, via surrealist Gallic fever-dreams and psychedelic shockers from Cinecittà, Euro Gothic analyses more than 100 key films plus scores of others ranging from the early years of the 20th century to the video revolution of the 1980s.

Jonathan will be signing copies of Euro Gothic, and we hope to welcome a special guest to the event.

All attendees will be entitled to an exclusive £5 discount on signed, pre-publication copies of the book.

Doors open at 19.00, for a 19.30 start.
