Open BethlehemThe Kennington Bethlehem Link is a local group working to create a formal, long-lasting friendship between Kennington and Bethlehem through education, faith, music, art and sport.

Open Bethlehem (2014) follows Palestinian director Leila Sansour’s extraordinary journey to the legendary city of Bethlehem, the place where she grew up. Armed with a camera and a family car that keeps breaking down, she sets out to make an intimate portrait of a historical town in peril.

“The kind of art that peace processes are built on.”
Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian

The film will be followed by a discussion with Leila Sansour and Sir Vincent Fean KCVO (former British Consul General, Jerusalem).
