The Signal TowerThe Kennington Bioscope is a regular cinema event featuring live accompaniment to silent films that takes place at the Cinema Museum.

The main feature is The Signal Tower (1924), directed by Clarence Brown, and starring Virginia Valli, Rockliffe Fellowes, Frankie Darro and Wallace Beery.

Dave Tolliver, a signal tower man on a mountain railroad, takes in his relief man, Joe Standish, as a lodger, but Standish makes advances to Dave’s wife while Dave is busy trying to save a passenger train. The film is introduced by Kevin Brownlow, and has live musical accompaniment.
