L'assassin habite au 21In his fifth season of French Sundaes Jon Davies tackles the fine tradition of the French thriller in four themed sessions.

January’s theme is ‘cops and robbers’. The extraordinary wartime comedy thriller, L’assassin habite au 21 (The Killer Lives at Number 21), follows a detective on the case of a seemingly omnipresent killer. Directed by Henri-Georges Clouzot, this 1942 film takes an astonishingly frank view of French society.
