Kinima Presents: L.A. Confidential and Live Cine-Variety

Sat 6 Dec 2014 @ 17:30 · Events

If you haven’t heard of Kinima before, do not fret – this is your chance to experience the superb yet forgotten world of cine-variety shows. With the lively vibe of mid 1800’s music halls mixed with the early wonders of cinema, you will be getting the cinematic experience that was always meant to be.

L.A. ConfidentialTo set the theme of the evening we will be screening the splendid period crime thriller L.A Confidential (1997). This is a film of raw pleasure and deadly deceit which packs more punches than Muhammad Ali. Seriously! The film dishes the dirt on pimps and politicians, murderers and broads with a cool eye and a sense of humour – and a stupendous amount of evil.

So prepare yourself for an evening of stunning shows, live music, sexy scandals, and bloody murder! Kinima is here to show you what a night out at the movies is really all about. Just remember this is off the record, on the QT, and very hush-hush.

Doors open at 17.30, with the main screening at 20.00.

Refreshments will be available in our licenced cafe/bar.
