The Cinema of Childhood films are rarely seen brilliant movies about children from all around the world curated by Mark Cousins inspired by his documentary A Story of Children and Film. As part of the season, film screenings are being paired with panel discussions and Q&A sessions about child well-being and the arts to provide a forum for engaging public debate and inter-disciplinary dialogue about issues raised in the films.
The season is presented by Filmhouse, Edinburgh, with the support of the British Film Institute’s Programming Development Fund, awarding funds from the National Lottery.
