3rd Wonder Reels: live music and screening of Beat Girl

10th Iain Sinclair screening: Niagara and Cul de Sac

17th Celebrating Chaplin: on the 100th anniversary of the first appearance of the Tramp, Chaplin expect Glenn Mitchell presents an evening of films.

19th The Blinkin’ Buzzards – Quarterly meeting of The Buster Keaton Society

24th And the Award goes to … Star Canine Performances. Although the Golden Collar Awards only date from 2012, the recent winner Uggie was preceded by a over a century of talented dogs who – in serious drama, comedy and animation – ‘could have been a contender’. This illustrated talk features the four-legged stars who have graced the cinema screen from the early days to the present.

29th Mark Kermode introduces one of his favourite films, Jeremy (1973), starring Robby Benson, followed by a Q&A.

30th The return of the Dixie Ticklers: an evening of music, films and food. New scores for three short silent movies in the first hall + the Dixie Ticklers will play their usual popular set during the second half.
