Linda ThorsonCanadian-born Linda Thorson is best known as playing Tara King, the third of John Steed’s partners in the hit TV series The Avengers (1968-69), starring Patrick Macnee, for which she received a special BAFTA in 2000.

She has had a wide-ranging career in television, film and theatre on both sides of the Atlantic. Films include Ken Russell’s Valentino (1977), The Greek Tycoon (1978), cult horror film Curtains (1983) and Alan Alda’s Sweet Liberty (1986). On television she has appeared in Star Trek: The Next Generation (1993) and Emmerdale (2006-7) as villainess Rosemary King.

Her theatrical career has included parts in Noises Off!, Equus, and August: Osage County. She has appeared at the Open Air Theatre, Regent’s Park in both A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Gigi.

Doors open at 19.00 for a 19.30 start.
