This little-seen movie starring George Takei follows on from the events of David Lean’s 1957 film Bridge on the River Kwai. Directed by Andrew McLaglen, a director of well-regarded Westerns and action movies, it also stars Nick Tate (Space: 1999) and Edward Fox.

Star Trek VI – The Undiscovered Country is a last hurrah for the seven members of the original cast, and is a fresh mix of the old and new that does settle down after various thrills and spills into a warm farewell to the original crew.
