French comedy – a selection of the best and worst of French comedy with clips you will never have seen on this side of the Channel and a screening of Tati’s classic Les Vacances de M. Hulot.
As one of our “French Sundays” events, the film will be followed by an illuminating talk by Jon Davies, placing the film in its historical and cultural context. An Associate of the BFI, Jon teaches French Cinema at Morley College, Waterloo.
Doors open at 13.30 for a 14.30 start.
The event will end around 17.30.
Refreshments will be available in our licenced cafe/bar.
